About Abinmon Jain:

I am a fourth-year Meng Computer Science student at the University of Strathclyde. I am a self-motivated problem solver always up for a challenge. I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and try my best to give 100% effort into anything I do. I am looking to enhance my knowledge and understanding of the world of computers.

Experience

ThinkAnalytics (June 2021 – August 2021)                                                                      I was given the chance to work as an Intern at ThinkAnalytics in Glasgow. As part of this role, I was given a project to do over the 3-month period which involved building an API layer that replaces the existing API as well as modernizing the existing UI for the current APP. I was given the chance to use frameworks, tools, and libraries such as Spring Boot, React, GraphQL and Elastic EUI.

Ybrant Partners (June 2020 – October 2020)

           For this position, my major duties included:

Working with Subject matter experts at Ybrant Partners and         gain knowledge about what Ybrant Partners did. I also helped Ybrant Partners in technical and functional documentations such as updating old documents. I joined the technical calls, webinars, and other related meeting as and when invited/asked.
