Services offered
An experienced leader with 20 years of professional sustainability experience, I have focussed on sustainable finance since joining the UK Green Investment Bank (GIB) in 2013 in its early start-up phase to shape its governance, approach, and process for green investment.
From Macquarie’s 2017 acquisition of the GIB I oversaw the international expansion of green investment, covering over £26bn of investment into over 25 markets around the world into renewable energy and supporting technologies (e.g. battery storage, green hydrogen, low carbon transport), nature-based investment and circular economy solutions.
In Macquarie Asset Management, the world’s largest infrastructure investor, I led sustainable investment fund design and supported fundraising for over $5bn of private capital from institutional investors and wealth management. Since recently leaving Macquarie, I now provide sustainable finance advisory services.
I have also led global sustainable finance initiatives, including the development of international green bond & loan standards, project carbon accounting approaches used by Multilateral Development Banks, and climate solutions disclosures for institutional investors.
My combined public and private sector sustainable finance experience, underpinned by technical sustainability skills and knowledge, uniquely positions me to help lead organizations’ delivery of impactful solutions to environmental and social sustainability challenges.
