FUTURE PLC – London UK Sales Account Manager Decanter February 2020 to May 2023 Decanter is the world’s leading wine media brand. It comprises the magazine, two websites, two world-class wine competitions and both Europe and China’s premier consumer wine events. Reporting to the Head of Sales, my role was Account manager where I look after a portfolio of clients from Spain, South America and Balkans. I’ve been working on key client accounts (wine producers, wineries, embassies) to ensure our clients receive the very best service available on the market, cultivating strong, collaborative, and supportive relationships with them. Key Responsibilities: - Having meetings with clients regularly, checking in on the progress of their campaign objectives in our magazine, and sharing feedback with internal stakeholders. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts, providing outstanding customer service and support. - Identify and target new business opportunities to expand Decanter's client base. - Inbound and outbound phone calls and email included. Cold calling, problem solving and general account maintenance to build customer relationships and trust resulting in new business. - Sell digital advertising, content marketing solutions and events sponsorship packages to clients. - Strong external networks, product knowledge, technical skills, and market knowledge, and taking responsibility for growing my clients portfolio through prospecting, relationship management, referrals, cross-selling and attending events as wine Tastings in the UK and Europe and Wine events as Prowein. - Managing advertising inventory and price, developing key internal and external customer relationships and achieving personal and team revenue targets. - Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. - Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of Decanter products, to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editorial, marketing and events to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and events. Connect Managed Services- London UK Project Coordinator August 2016 to November 2019 Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues for including support to multiple companies (Verizon, Johnson and Johnson, BP, Lloyds Bank) users and sites. Walked clients step by step for troubleshooting, common faults on PCs, laptops, phones and mobile devices. Provided 1st and 2nd line to users, escalating issues to the 3rd line specialist if necessary. Liaised with software providers to resolve operational issues with minimal downtime. Installed and supported telecommunications equipment, including providing training sessions to new users. Handling escalating tickets and actively communicating with the customer regarding critical failure and incident progression, coordinating the engineering team to resolve faults in a timely manner. Manage and escalate with the correspondence team to ensure the flow of communications among all key stakeholders; ensure that communications are relevant and regular. Ria Money Exchange London UK - Customer Service Executive June 2018 to July 2019 Working as part of a team dealing with foreign exchange queries, handling cash, cheques, bank giro credits, traveler's cheques and foreign currencies. Transferring money, mainly to South America, Europe and Africa. This included assisting the customer in selling and buying currency and handling large amounts of cash including sterling and foreign banking.
