I want to put the knowledge I have gained through studying into practice and I am really passionate about being a good psychologist one day. I'm currently pursuing masters in Mental Health: Psychological Therapies from Queen Mary, University of London.

Working at the front counter at McDonalds has helped me enhance my soft interpersonal skills while working behind the counter has made me better at working in a team.
JUNE 2019 
TRAINEE, THE HEALTHY MIND CLINIC
I shadowed the sessions of patients in the outpatient department with a psychiatrist, the sessions involved history taking, examinations including Mental Status Examination, Management planning, application of assessment scales, psychological testing, psychotherapy etc.

MSC MENTAL HEALTH: PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPIES, QUEEN MARY, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON
The course consisted of some highly interesting modules including Psychological Therapies (which involved therapies like Psychoanalytic Therapies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family Therapy, Mindfulness etc.) Professional Skills in Mental Health (which involved topics like risk assessment, ethics, safeguarding, case formulation, self-care for mental health professionals), Mental Health in Context (which included topics like gender identities, sexual orientation, intimate partner violence, rehabilitation etc.) and Applied Research Methods (which involved topics like Qualitative and Quantitative methods, Research Ethics etc., and learning about and writing a Systematic Review). Currently, I am working on writing a systematic review for my dissertation on the topic “Comparison of psychotropic medication with psychological therapies for anxiety disorders in adults.” Apart from the course modules, I also attended some optional enrichment sessions on eating disorders.
JULY 2018- JULY 2021
BA(HONS.) APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY, AMITY UNIVERSITY, UTTAR PRADESH
The course consisted of various subjects including theory and practical. These subjects included introductory counselling psychology, environmental psychology, applied social psychology, statistical methods in psychology, research methodology, educational psychology, child psychology, organizational psychology, abnormal psychology, gender psychology, experimental psychology, and numerous others, I passed this degree with first division. Each semester also had a project like writing a case study or designing and administering a questionnaire on individuals, I conducted this study on “Selfitis”, so I administered a self-constructed questionnaire about “Selfitis” on a small sample, and in the final semester I submitted my dissertation on the topic “Effect of Marital Relationship on Family Pathology”, I used 3 different assessment scales to find the results, these included Family Pathology Scale, Relationship Assessment Scale and Childhood Trauma Questionnaire.
