Ahmad Rizal Alifio

I am a data engineer with two years of experience building scalable data pipeline.

I have designed and implemented ETL data pipelines, automated data processing orchestration with Apache Airflow, and developed APIs to serve the data using various data engineering and cloud based technology, primarily within the GCP environment, such as Dataflow and BigQuery to name a few. 

In addition, I’ve worked with various analytics and data visualization tools that I believe can aid the development of the company’s data platforms. Aided further with my formal education in computer science, I am familiar with the best practices and methodical approaches to problem solving.

I will be living in the UK starting September as an international student, taking the MSc Data Science course at The University of Sheffield. At the same time, I am ready to take this responsibility for my professional career going forward.

My latest tenure as a data engineer gave me the opportunity to design and develop a data pipeline system to collect, clean, and store the resulting structured data. Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

• Design and implement ETL data pipeline for training JobKred’s HR platform recommender system.
• Managing, automating, and maintaining reliability of data processing orchestration from data lake.
• Developed API to serve data generated from the pipeline.

GPA 3.46 (Equivalent to Upper Second-Class Honours)

Took electives of Cloud Computing, Data Science & Mining, and Big Data. Finished research of Parallel Imbalanced Data Handling for final project.
