Work history
Sales Assistant09/2017 to 01/2018
Boux Avenue England
Working at Boux avenue was my first experience working in retail, it was an extremely rewarding experience and I gained real insight into what working in retail is like. I learnt how to work with customers in order to meet their needs and multitask when required. Similarly, I learnt the importance of working in a team in order for the shop to run smoothly and to keep everything in working order. whilst working at Boux avenue, I was introduced to the idea of meeting targets which is what made the experience so rewarding, I was taught how to meet the targets set for me quickly and effectively. This skills I have gained are something that I value and am really looking towards utilising further.
Pool Coordinators01/2017 to 08/2017
tiny swimmers Barnet SENSE England
Working at Tiny Swimmers helped me to develop my observation skills, whilst having to look for any potential dangers around the poolside as well as setting up for classes, I was able to multi task and consistently deliver. Time keeping was very important at Tiny Swimmers and admin work taught me the importance of being proactive in everything that you do.
Disability Support, volunteer and Young creator 09/2015 to 07/2017
Chickenshed London, England
Chickenshed is an inclusive theatre company in North London and is a place that really shaped me as a person and taught me all of the skills I know to this day. Whilst at Chickenshed I had the pleasure of working with children from all backgrounds with all types of ability. Whilst being at Chickenshed, I learnt the importance of having patience with everybody and the importance of accepting people for who they are and working with them despite their abilities. In order to do so, I learnt basic sign language which is something I took into retail and something that I utilised more than I ever expected to. I am able to communicate confidently with all those around me. I was also given the responsibility of leading workshops for young people working towards performance at venues such as the V&A museum, The Hardrock Cafe and ITV studios to name a few which was a bit responsibility that taught me a lot about organisation and working in a team environment in order to achieve the best results for all those around me.
GAP KIDS TEMP
ROKIT VINTAGE Working at Rokit vintage really brought out the best in me and my personality, my creativity really developed whilst working there, I was able to assist customers in finding the clothing that would compliment their personalities and bring out the best in them. I absolutely adored the team I was working with and I feel like the connection we all had as a team made our customer service skills a lot better as we were full of energy and were happy to be going to work every day.
