Aisha Saleem

In my current position of a Business Development Coordinator at Jam Coding Limited, I am part of one of the largest providers of Computing education in the UK. Our mission is to deliver life skills to the next generation of digital citizens. I liaise with primary schools to promote our services and strengthen our existing relationships within the local area. I achieve this by utilising my excellent written and verbal communication skills. At times I also provide support in the digital workshops by facilitating the after-school computing club sessions. I would describe myself as a proactive and professional approach to work, with the ability to work independently and manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.

My other competencies include excellent organisational, prioritisation and time-management skills to coordinate and deliver multiple projects and strands of work simultaneously, in addition to being comfortable working to tight deadlines while delivering high quality outputs with minimum supervision. I have experience suggesting and incorporating design changes and new features to better serve a language-learning audience.

My background in education and training has also equipped me with the ability of exhibiting a high attention to detail and extreme accuracy in my written work. I have developed the ability to edit and tweak a written document and go through it objectively and critically to a rigorous standard, particularly when I was composing my dissertation. I can work autonomously unsupervised and complete tasks to an impeccable standard, in addition to being able to be part of a team and learn from experienced colleagues and peers to upskill myself and facilitate good practice and methodologies in the institution. My flexibility and adaptability, as evident from my CV are assets that are invaluable in an increasingly volatile environment.

I possess a Bachelor’s degree in German & Linguistics from Nottingham Trent University, in addition to a Master’s degree is in Applied Linguistics & English Language Teaching obtained more recently from King’s College London.
