Hi, I'm Alberte, a professional who blends visual content with tech expertise. My journey took me from filming in Barcelona to fashion projects in Japan; from enhancing new aesthetics in Morocco to studio management and teaching roles in Madrid. The particular skillset I've built in diverse environments allowed me to transition from retouching to taking a role as a photographer in the UK, demonstrating my adaptability and collaborative spirit. 

My creative side has always complemented my tech side, which was my main reason to study full-stack development, leading to collaborative projects that fused coding with user experience. During this time, my conversations with clients highlighted the significance of data in today's digital landscape, sparking my interest in the subject. I followed this interest with an introductory data science course, and a data technician bootcamp that I'm currently completing, where I have deepened my technical skills in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Azure, Python and R.

Since October 2022, I have been working as a Full-Stack Developer in London, where I specialize in building web applications using React, Node.js, and MongoDB. My deep expertise in React, including Hooks, enables me to construct complex user interfaces and single-page applications. I am committed to continuously learning and have adopted new technologies such as AstroJS and NextJS, with notable clients including Illume and A&S.

Before my current role, I embarked on a career in the visual arts, serving as a Fashion Photographer and Retoucher at Oasis & Warehouse in London from July 2019 to June 2020. In this capacity, I led fashion photography shoots, managed lighting setups, and scene compositions to ensure the highest quality of visual output. My responsibilities extended to managing and archiving digital data, color grading, and collaborating with creative teams to ensure that the photographic vision aligned with the overarching creative concepts.

Earlier, from January 2017 to July 2018, I worked as a Photography Retouching Teacher at CEV & Workshop Experience in Madrid. I developed and implemented a comprehensive syllabus that covered both technical and artistic aspects of photography, delivering engaging lectures and practical sessions. My goal was to foster a deep understanding and passion for the art of photography among my students, providing personalized feedback and guidance to enhance their individual artistic styles and technical skills.

Additionally, from October 2017 to July 2018, I managed the Retouching Studio at La Mascara in Madrid. My role involved overseeing daily studio operations, coordinating team schedules, and ensuring efficient production and adherence to deadlines. I supervised the quality of outputs, implementing rigorous quality control standards to meet or exceed client expectations and industry benchmarks. I also cultivated a collaborative and skill-enhancing environment for the retouching team, fostering continuous improvement and professional development in retouching techniques and workflow efficiency.

Most recently, I completed a Digital Skills Bootcamp as a Data Technician at Just IT Training Ltd in London, from December 2023 to March 2024. This twelve-week intensive bootcamp covered the fundamentals of being a Data Technician, including Data, Big Data, and Data Structures, Data Architecture & Governance, Data Analysis using MS Excel, and Introduction to Data Visualisation with MS Excel, Tableau, and Power BI. It also included modules on Data Analytics with Power BI, Introduction to Database with Access & SQL, Azure Fundamentals across several modules covering data analytics, relational and non-relational data in Azure, and core data concepts. I gained practical skills in data analysis via Python programming, utilizing libraries like Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn, and learned about data cleaning and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) with RStudio and R programming.

Before that, I participated in an Intensive Technical Program on Data Science at Datamecum in Valencia from February to August 2023. This intensive course mirrored the curriculum of the Data Technician bootcamp, enhancing my expertise in Data Science with a focus on Data, Big Data, Data Structures, Data Architecture & Governance, and Data Analysis using tools and technologies like MS Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Azure Fundamentals. I also deepened my knowledge in data analytics, database management, and data visualization, alongside advanced training in R for analytical data cleaning, EDA, and Python for data analysis.

Earlier, from April to June 2022, I completed a Fullstack Web App Development Bootcamp at Ironhack in Barcelona. This 9-week intensive program covered a wide range of technologies necessary for full-stack web development. I learned frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript (ES6), and React JS. On the backend, I was trained in Express.js, Mongoose, Node.js, MongoDB, and Axios for server-side development. Additionally, the bootcamp emphasized the importance of version control using Git, equipping me with the skills to manage and collaborate on software development projects efficiently.

Through these programs, I've built a solid foundation in both web development and data science, equipping me with the diverse skills necessary to tackle complex problems in the tech industry.
