I am a charismatic, enthusiastic individual, striving for success in the fashion industry. My recent study at the UKs leading fashion college, has allowed me to grow my knowledge, and build interpersonal skills, including teamwork and communication.

Alongside my studies, I work part time as a sales assistant in John Lewis, which has taught me to observe and connect with the customer; learning what they like, what they don't like, and most importantly what they wear. These transferable skills, have allowed me to understand the consumer at a deeper level, and will help me in my future career. I am looking for my first job as a BAA.

During my time working at Monsoon and John Lewis, I developed strong skills in customer service, retail operations, and teamwork. At Monsoon, I focused on delivering a personalized shopping experience, helping customers find products that suited their needs while maintaining high visual merchandising standards. Transitioning to John Lewis allowed me to broaden my experience within a larger, fast-paced department store environment, where I learned the importance of adaptability, attention to detail, and supporting a wide range of customer inquiries. Both roles strengthened my communication skills and gave me a solid foundation in providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with colleagues.

I completed A Levels in Psychology, Business, and Textiles, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding consumer behavior. Building on this, I pursued a one-year course in Buying and Range Planning at the Fashion Retail Academy, where I developed practical skills in trend analysis, critical path analysis and strategic planning for retail collections. As part of the course, I completed a three-week work placement at Marks & Spencer, where I gained hands-on experience in a professional buying environment, working closely with industry teams on real-time projects. This combination of academic study and practical experience has strengthened my understanding of the fashion retail industry and sharpened my analytical and creative skills, preparing me for a career in fashion buying.
