in my previous role, I played a pivotal role in the strategic buying, planning, and execution of seasonal departments, contributing to the overall success of the retail operation. Collaborating closely with directors and the store manager, I actively participated in buying trips, offering valuable insights and assisting in the selection of merchandise to align with the company’s vision and customer preferences.

A key aspect of my role involved curating product collections for seasonal departments, meticulously selecting items that would resonate with target demographics and enhance the overall shopping experience. I demonstrated proficiency in developing floor plans that optimized space utilization and flow, ultimately driving sales and maximizing revenue.

In addition to my buying responsibilities, I took charge of designing and sourcing props to elevate visual displays and create immersive retail environments. By closely monitoring stock turnover and trends, I proactively identified opportunities to drive sales and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Furthermore, I played a significant role in contributing to store refurbishment planning, leveraging my keen eye for detail and understanding of customer behavior to inform layout and design decisions. Through these initiatives, I consistently demonstrated my commitment to enhancing the retail experience and driving business growth at sunshine garden centre.

Experienced in delivering captivating freelance projects, I have orchestrated festive transformations for private residences and commercial spaces alike. Notably, I spearheaded annual Christmas decor installations for a prominent family, elevating their home into a breathtaking winter wonderland for three consecutive years. From crafting elaborate stair garlands to adorning towering trees, I meticulously tailored each design to surpass client expectations while ensuring seamless execution of all elements, including sourcing additional decor and safely managing intricate electrical setups.
