I am a qualified Part 2 Architectural Assistant working through to RIBA Part 3 qualification with 12 years of professional experience in Architectural design; this period includes six years in the United Kingdom across the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
I am a creative and technical-minded person who likes to get involved in all design stages. I am currently looking for a permanent role that will allow me to become an architect.

Under senior architects' instructions, I compiled the information for RIBA stages 3 to 5 for Doorway to Value (furniture shop extension in Chorley), Furness College (conversion of Floor C into student accommodation within Lancaster University Campus - Bailrigg, Lancaster - RIBA Stages 2 to 5) and Bury College (refurbishment of Beacon Centre - RIBA Stage 3). I assisted in the project Construction of a new school and the demolition of the existing one at St Peters C Of E School Birstall (stages 3 to 5), the refurbishment and extension of Hope University in Liverpool (Stage 5), and other projects.
My work comprised compiling general arrangement plans, elevations, sections, partitions, ceilings, and finishes, setting out drawings (SFS, brickwork with openings, partitions, stairs), access strategies, fire strategies, detailing drawings (external envelope, internal walls, stairs, waterproofing to ground slabs, intermediary floors and roofs, curtain walls, window and doors reveals, fireproofing), schedules (doors, windows), room data sheets etc. I assisted the team in compiling the pre-construction packs, NBS specifications and planning applications (full planning consents, signage and discharge of planning conditions).
During this time, I learnt to work in Revit 2D and 3D but continued using AutoCAD, MS Office suite and occasionally Photoshop/Gimp.
In the spring of 2023, I passed the exam for a CSCS card for an Academically Qualified Person.

I worked on RIBA stages 1 to 3 for commercial housing projects (conversions and extensions). Under the instructions of the senior architect, I drafted building surveys, concept schemes, Planning Applications, Historical Assessments, and Design and Access Statements. I produced plans, elevations, sections, CGI visuals and fly-around videos in ProgeCAD, Sketchup 3D and Photoshop.

I worked on RIBA stages 1 to 3 and, following senior architects' instructions, compiled planning applications (drawings, Design and Access Statements), tender and construction packages (drawings and schedule of works) for high-end residential projects (barn conversions, house extensions, new builds).
I produced 2D drawings in VectorWorks, 3D models in Sketchup, CGI visuals in V-Ray 3.6 and Photoshop, and presentations for clients and feasibility studies using Adobe InDesign.

Rehabilitation of Suceava's Fortress and its Protection Area - Under the chief architect's instructions, I drafted the schedule of works, assisted the contractors and compiled the drawing packs for the tender and construction stages (general arrangement plans, elevations and sections, construction details, architectural instructions, surveying and designing of the timber framework with ironmongery, etc.). The information comprised 2D/3D drawings and sketches in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
In 2016, the project was awarded the 1st prize for the Big Ensembles Section at the Restoration Triennale in Romania.
Bucharest Master Plan - I assisted in drafting the drawings containing boundaries of the protected areas used as recommendations of the National Institute of Heritage for Bucharest Master Plan design.
2014 to 2015 - Celebrating Romanian Restorers Series - I drafted in Photoshop the posters and presentation for 2 exhibitions.
2015 - Buluc Monastery – Jaristea, Vrancea. I surveyed and drafted the drawings for listing the XVII century wooden church.
