I'm 16 years old, looking for an apprenticeship this September

I am currently studying Engineering and Business, in combination with my work experience I am looking to secure a career in Electrical Installation / Mechatronics / Mechelec.

My professional experience has been my school work experience.

This was with an Engineering company but I am seeking a role in Electrical Installation.

I took part in a work experience placement with a Doncaster based company called Agemaspark.  I worked alongside professionals and under their guidance, I was given the opportunity to design a 3D keyring using solid works software. 

I was supervised whilst setting up the metal 3D printer and taking off the parts once finished.   I shadowed people on machines such as CNC milling, CNC turning, and surface grinding.  I also assisted with stripping tools down on the bench ad re-assembling  them, this helped me to learn about their components, maintenance, and safe operation.

During my work experience an expensive piece of work was delivered to the companies work place where I was based, I was unable to touch this piece as I was not insured or experienced enough which allowed me to be patient and observe the professionals around me. This helped me improve my knowledge as it let me learn from those who were experienced.
