MSc Project/Thesis Title: Digital Frontiers in Mental Health: Exploring the Promise of Chatbots in Depression Detection.

This made use of state-of-the art machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to create chatbots that can administer a clinical interview for depression, then assert whether or not an individual may be depressed, and the severity of potential depression.

Also hold a BSc(Hons) in Psychology, with approximately four years of experience working in psychiatric facilities, allowing for a very unique blend of skills and knowledge. 

Currently looking for any Software Engineering roles based either in Montreal or fully remote.

Fluent in English, beginner in French.

Development of a chatbot system to deliver an adapted version of the Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9). The project emphasized the significant potential of chatbots in detecting depression across various industries. Utilising Python, BERT, and Logistic Regression algorithms for text classification.
