About Amber Atkinson:

With my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology being specialised in forensic psychology, I feel I possess sufficient pre-existing knowledge of the requirements for associated positions. Furthermore, my decision to incorporate a placement module in my degree, involving volunteering to mentor young people at risk of offending or re-offending, allowed me to develop the appropriate skills required of similar roles.

Conducting both qualitative and quantitative research was a consistent requirement of my degree, involving significant expertise in using SPSS and excel, revealing my abilities in facilitating the analysis of data, contributing to my ability to efficiently evaluate human behaviour using statistics. In addition, the accumulation of knowledge over three years, comprising intricate analysis of human behaviour within assignments, in combination with my practical experience in a forensic setting, accelerates my abilities in comprehending human behaviour. This will further facilitate my ability to expeditiously absorb information when training.

My A-level studies in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology have equipped me with an extensive analytical skill set, critical thinking abilities, and a deep understanding of scientific principles, all of which are essential for problem-solving and data analysis in professional environments.

Additionally, my lifeguarding qualification demonstrates my commitment to safety, responsibility, and competence under pressure.
