Clinical Practitioner (paid position) with Shout! (Part-time) 18th August 2021 – present 

➢ ~25 hours training over a 6-week period to deliver emotional support and mental health crisis intervention. Clinical Practitioner (CP) role entails minimum 6-hour-maximum 20-hour weekly shifts delivering digital psychotherapeutic support and in-the-moment crisis intervention for individuals who present with various mental health crises, including suicide, self-harm and abuse. Responsibilities involve risk assessment services, utilising various contact techniques and proven de-escalation and risk management techniques, facilitating psychological exploration, following stringent safeguarding procedures, safety planning and signposting or providing appropriate referrals to approved organisations for further follow-up and support. 

Governess (Full-time) 18th November 2022 – present 

➢ Responsible for providing academic guidance, homeschooling and personalised structured learning, assessing academic standards and tutoring for progress in areas of difficulty, exam preparation and homework help, overseeing and supporting children’s physical, social and emotional development, ensuring all developmental milestones are met. 

Teaching Assistant at Normanhurst Independent School (Full-time) 5th January 2022 – 18th November 2022 

➢ Working directly for the SENDCO and within SEND department at both primary and secondary education levels: delivering one-to-one sessions for children with dyslexia and various learning difficulties (achieving certificate in dyslexia training), independently planning and running morning intervention groups in numeracy and literacy for low/high ability students, producing termly progress reports for one-to-one sessions and intervention groups, monitoring and progressing children’s literacy through individual reading, running afterschool clubs in fashion and arts and crafts, achievement of first aid paediatric training, supporting children in lessons and class teacher with in-class teaching, administrative duties, marking and behaviour management. 

Healthcare Assistant at Brookside Adolescent Unit (NHS –NELFT) (Full-time) 7th January 2019-9th April 2020 

➢ Regular provision of 1:1 emotional and psychological support integral to this job role. This includes providing verbal de-escalation, de-briefs, conflict resolution, use of breathing and grounding techniques, emotion regulation and coping strategies, psychoeducation, interpersonal, occupational, and social skill development. ➢ Extensive training and experience of care and safety (crisis and contingency) planning, clinical documentation, running occupational therapy groups, minute-taking and audiotyping. Working with clinical psychologists to co-facilitate psychology groups with clinical psychologist and deliver low-level psychotherapeutic interventions such as graded exposure and behavioural activation. Additional assistant psychologist roles for assessment clinics including administration of psychometric assessment, notes review and case summary for each young person and minute-taking during clinical meetings and medication reviews. Appointed Sexual Safety Lead and completed mentoring for fellow HCA new starter, alongside undertaking bank shifts on adult wards within NELFT and shadowing assistant psychologist in PICU. ➢ Achieved certification in PMVA physical intervention training, alongside Immediate Life Support, Safeguarding Children and Adults, Clinical Audit, Manual Handling, Equality and Diversity training and Care certificate.
