Amie Jarvis

Amie Louise Jarvis (b.2001) is A Stylist and Vintage sourcer from the North of England.

Amie’s creative practice focuses on visual storytelling and aims to provoke emotions in others. Through using the power of fashion to form a narrative she believes she encourages a more positive relationship with fashion. The underlying focus to help others build connections with clothing is shown through both editorial and personal styling. 

Amie has just graduated Leeds Arts University with a BA Second Class Honours in Fashion Branding and Communication. Throughout her studies she has gained experience in styling editorial, commercial and personal clients. She has also organised events including a Vintage Fashion Runway and a brand advertising event. 

Amie has retail experience with brands such as H&M and Pandora where she learnt valuable skills in customer service and sales techniques. With H&M Amie‘s responsibilities ranged from serving customers to organising the store layout and stock deliveries. She learnt valuable experience in what it takes to run a successfully retail store and how to be a reliable team member to keep the store running. 

As well as retail experience Amie had the opportunity to have a summer internship with a local clothing boutique where she added to her skills by learning the process of buying stock in an independent store. Her responsibilities during this time were organising stock and visual merchandising by dressing the window displays.  

Amie studied Fashion Branding and Communication at Leeds Arts university. During her time studying she has been able to refine her creative practice and hone her style through experimentation and experiences. She has styled for her own projects but also for peers, learning how to successfully meet a brief and working with creative directors to portray a concept cohesively.
