In my current role as Procurement Manager (Transitions) at the Department for Transport Operator, I oversee the smooth transition of UK train operators into public ownership, mitigating contractual risks and leading major procurements across multiple operators, including Southeastern Railway, LNER, and Northern Railway. Previously, as Operations Procurement Manager at Southeastern Railway, I developed and implemented procurement strategies, negotiated high-value contracts, and drove supplier performance improvements that delivered measurable efficiencies.

My career highlights include leading a £60M waste management services tender across the DOHL Group, managing a £1.54M station improvement programme, and overseeing innovative technology projects such as the Hubble AI vegetation compliance system. These experiences demonstrate my ability to manage high-value, high-impact projects while balancing cost, compliance, and stakeholder expectations.

Beyond my professional responsibilities, I have been elected Chair of Women in Rail, where I lead initiatives on workplace inclusivity and employee wellbeing. This leadership role reflects my commitment to fostering positive organisational culture and supporting colleagues at all levels.

I hold a Foundation Degree in Business Management from the Open University and am completing CIPS Level 4 accreditation, underlining my commitment to continuous professional development.
