About Andreea Stef:

I'm Andreea Sorina Stef, an artist and designer currently based in the UK, with an affinity for eye-catching designs and appealing visual characters.
 

From a young age, I have been captivated by the creative field - from sketching portraits and papercrafting to diving head first into digital art, using Photoshop and Illustrator.

As an artist, I'm constantly inspired to push boundaries - experiment with new skills and techniques. My work ranges from graphic design to illustrations; concept art to asset design - with even a pinch of animation. I enjoy working on them all.

As a designer, my goal is to connect companies to their target audiences through the development of unique brand personalities with depth and approachability, that tell a story.

I have extensive knowledge of a wide range of design software packages and am able to demonstrate this in all areas of design, illustration, print, digital and social media adverts.

• Developed and marketed custom commissions across an array of formats – digital art,
photo manipulation, vector images, pencil drawings and watercolour paintings.

• Effectively conceptualised, developed and produced print materials for a targeted

POSTER ARTIST | Phorescent Films Ltd. | Oct. 2020 - Aug. 2023
• Successfully applied design principles, typography, and colour and composition theory
to create inventive and striking poster designs for the feature film “The King of Spades”
and the short film “The Shades”.
• Demonstrated effective communication and collaboration skills by working one-on-one
with the film dir ector to meet his artistic pr erequisites.

JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATOR | Opis Group Limited | Apr. 2022 - Feb. 2023

• Collaborated with the creative team to conceptualise, design and produce marketing
and promotional materials (flyers, banners, social media ads, apparel, stickers, 3D printed
models, etc.) for OpiPets online game.
• Conceptualised over 200 characters and assets for use in the main game. Created over
50 custom infographics for blog posts and social media channels.
• Developed 20 minigames using and manipula ting existing art assets, in Construct 3.

CONCEPT & STORYBOARD ARTIST | Mustard Ink Studios | Jun. 2021 - Oct. 2021

• Illustrated character concept art for a post-apocalyptic thriller series in development.
• Cooperated with the storyboard team to illustrate shots for a proof of concept animatic.

ILLUSTRATOR | Teesside University (internship) | Sep. 2019 - Jan. 2020

• Headed the creative side of a handpicked game design team to develop four small 2D
games for a pronunciation-learning app.
• Developed concepts, 2D vector designs, UI interface, backgrounds, small frame by frame
animations and digital drawings, working closely with the technical developers to ensure
an effective workflow and successful end product.
