A seasoned music industry professional, Musician, Music Producer and Festival Organiser with a 20-year career, well know for developing cutting edge sample based products with his company Samplestate, writing and producing music for popular TV and film productions.  Predicting and understanding market needs, and working with a talented roster of producers in the development of new products from concept stages, to delivery to market, whilst also managing schedules, budgets and other marketing considerations in a fast paced industry.  A technically minded individual who has thrived in a highly competitive industry where innovation and creativity is key.

• 2022 to present / Content manager at Samplestate
  • Working with a team of producers to supply content for one of the world leading sample stores Loopmasters/Loopcloud.  Delivering a diverse collection of cutting edge products for their store and continuing to develop the Samplestate catalogue.

- 2011 to 2022 / Owner and founder of Samplestate, a sample pack label and website.

- 2018 to Present / Owner and founder of Remedy Festival. 

-organising a small/medium scale single day festival event that also raises money to support local charities.  All aspects of the festival including planning, promoting, staging, risk assesment, booking artists and logistics.  Organising food vendors, security, sound and lighting contractors.  

2008 top present / MD and Owner of Central Avenue Productions.

Producing Music and Sample products for leading labels, publishers for TV and film productions.

2021-2022 / Facilitator of DJ workshops

Working with young disadvantaged and autistic children who cant attend mainstream school with weekly DJ workshops.  Engaging challenging young people in music activities including DJ workshops to help develop self confidence and acquire new skills and interests. 

2005 to 2008 / Customer Liaison Officer / Tristar Homes Thornaby

• Working within the local authority council houses teams that refurbished kitchens and bathrooms for council tenants dealing with their queries and supporting them during refurbishments.
