I’m a data analyst with 30+ years of experience in corporate insurance and financial services, recently transitioning into data analytics and BI development. I specialise in data cleansing, transformation, and visualisation using Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and SQL to produce insights that support business decision-making.

My projects include financial dashboards, procurement analytics, and trend tracking. I’ve managed enterprise portfolios, led risk analysis, and delivered stakeholder-focused solutions in regulated environments—bringing deep domain knowledge and commercial awareness to every project.

I recently completed a Level 4 Data Analysis Skills Course (Bootcamp) via Lead Training. The programme covered the full data lifecycle—from data collection and classification through to transformation, modelling, visualisation, and delivery. It included hands-on training in Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and SQL, alongside an introduction to Microsoft Fabric for pipeline orchestration and workflow automation.

I delivered a capstone Power BI dashboard analysing 47,000 NHS procurement records—supported by a comprehensive Business Requirements Document—demonstrating applied skills in data cleansing, modelling, and visualisation.

The course also introduced inferential statistics, the fundamentals of AI and generative models, and explored core topics including OLAP/OLTP systems, ETL pipelines, data architecture, database design, requirements elicitation, data governance, GDPR, and decision analytics (descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive).
