As a full time student and Youth Advisor to Plan International, I play a vital role in shaping plan’ strategy regarding children’s rights and youth engagement. 

Youth Advisor for Plan international 

• Worked in a team to shape Plan’s policies to improve youth engagement in their decision making through the attendance of regular meetings and focus groups 
• Worked under deadlines and liasised with key stakeholders to provide written and verbal feedback on Plan’s strategy 
• Participated in various inductions to gain an insight into advocacy and humanitarian aid 
• Developed a strong aptitude for team work, time management and communication

Volunteer at Tenovus Cancer Care 

• Liaised with customers to provide optimal product selection 
• Quality assessed donations and priced them ready for sale 
• Responsible for cross referencing items across a number of websites to provide the most realistic valuation 
• Replenished shelves and organised clothing racks when needed 
• Established and nurtured effective relationships with customers, colleagues and the community
