Anil Maden

I was first introduced to writing code when I was given the task to predict the trajectory of objects with drag through a series of differential equations. While on this project I learned how we can build and simulate real events on a computer, which would normally be difficult to achieve if we were to carry out in the real world. I could see the time/cost saved whilst also having an easier time working around the parameters that had to be measured and changed. I derive a great deal of satisfaction from the challenge of applying coding skills to practical, real-world problems.
 Once I left university I wanted a more creative outlet whilst also not allowing the problem-solving skillet to go to waste. This is where I discovered web development. I began using online resources like Udemy FreeCodeCamp and much more alike to learn how to code and develop web applications. I wanted to create visually appealing web applications and understand how the code allows the application to function.
As a passionate Junior Web Developer, I am always taking on new projects and coding challenges to enhance my skills and knowledge in web development. While I am currently working on Front End Development I have a long-term goal to expand my skills into Back End Development, where I can better utilize the problem-solving skills obtained from my degree.

Whilst working as a Barista at one of the busiest cafes in our area. I learned how to work and communicate in a high-pressure environment. I had to think quickly and learn how to prioritize certain tasks over others and have consistent attention to detail, as poorly made drinks had to be remade. I learned the importance of teamwork and how to work with each other's strengths while helping others who struggle to create the best product possible with the resources available.

Bachelor's in Physics where I developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret data during laboratory sessions and on my final research project on photolithography.
