For years I have loved being creative on apps such as tiktok and instagram. 2021- April 2023
During and after completing my level 2 and level 3 extended diploma in sports coaching I was head coach for 4 different teams every week at Garforth rangers. During my time here I progressed from helping a handful of players and gaining experience to taking the whole team during training and games, planning all of my sessions, organising other members of staff whilst ensuring all equipment was in place and set up before my players arrived. Whilst working voluntary here I was recommended by a parent to Rothwell juniors where I also coached during the winter.
- Led and guided aspiring athletes, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Designed and executed training programs to enhance performance and foster a competitive spirit.
- organise and plan all training sessions whilst executing match day plans.
- strong leadership skills demonstrated when leading the players in training and games under my supervision.
Football coach
York college football development centre
To gain more coaching experience, myself and another coach managed a group of 30 children every week. These children didn’t have much access to sport & interaction with other students due to being homeschooled so our aim was to create a passion for exercise and football in particular. This was challenging as these players had often never played sport before or worked within a team. Nevertheless we ensured having organised and enticing sessions could overcome this.
- Mentored young soccer players, fostering their enthusiasm for the sport and helping them develop essential skills.
-organising admin and risk assessments
-work with other professionals such as councillors, social workers and mentors
-work with learning support assistants to help students with special educational needs and disabilities.
