About Annie O'Loughlin:

 I am in my final year of study for a BA in History and Languages and Cultures at the University of Sheffield, covering a wide range of history and French culture, specifically with regards to topics such as the Easter Rising and Francophone African Literature and Film. Most recently, I am working on projects concerning the translation of 1970s French queer literature and a Public History project focused on the Black Death in England 1348. 

I have experience working in public-facing administrative roles, and have preciously taught English in a German school. I also have extensive volunteering experience with Girlguiding, sports coaching, assisting in a foodbank, subtitling and historical transcription.

I am passionate about history and culture, and am a proficient speaker of French and German.
