Nov 2005 - Jun 2006. Corus Tubes Hartlepool - UT/MPI Inspection on seam welds of varying diameters of pipes.

Jul 2006 - Feb 2007. SAIS Alness Ross-shire - UT/MPI Inspection on butt welds on pipes at spool base on Hartlepool Docks and offshore on the pipe laying barge Helix Express in the North Sea. UT/MPI Inspection on Riser Bundles in Normandy, France.

Mar 2007 - Jun 2007. Corus Tubes Hartlepool - UT/MPI Inspection on seam welds of varying diameters of pipes. 

Jul 2007 - Sep 2007. SAIS Alness Ross-shire - UT/MPI Inspection on butt welds and tie in welds on spools for pipe laying barge 7 oceans at Subsea 7 spool base, Leith Docks, Edinburgh.

Oct 2007 - Dec 2007. SAIS Alness Ross-shire. Las Palmas Docks, Gran Canaria. North Sea upgrade on Leiv Eriksson Oil Rig. UT/MPI/DPI on various pipe work, tank supports and stiffeners and various structural welding.

Jan 2008 - Mar 2008.  SAIS Alness Ross-shire. Leith Docks Edinburgh. UT/MPI on tie in welds at subsea 7 spool base and then offshore on the pipe laying barge Skandi Navica. Thickness checks on pipe to find calibration blocks for RTD at Subsea 7 spool base.

Apr 2008 - Jul 2008. ETS Hartlepool - UT/MPI/DPI Inspection all over north east of England. Jobs included travelling to fab shops and testing various welding including pipe work, pipelines, structural.

Jul 2008 - Feb 2009. SAIS Alness Ross-shire - UT/MPI/DPI Inspection at Dragon LNG plant Wales for RTD on various welding on LNG tanks and butt welds on pipe work.

 Apr 2009 - Jun 2009. Corus Tubes Hartlepool - UT/MPI Inspection on seam welds of varying diameters and thickness of pipes.       

Jul 2009 - Sep 2009.  SAIS Alness Ross-shire - UT/MPI Inspection on various spools, butt welds on pipe work, from 6’’ to 16’’ in diameter in Kristiansund, Norway.

Sep 2009 - Oct 2009. SAIS Alness Ross-shire - UT/MPI Inspection on butt welds on 50mm large diameter pipe work of windmill structures in Holland.

Jan 2010 – May 2010  SAIS – UT/MPI Inspection on various structural welds and pipe work on Ensco 101 Oilrig at Able yard Hartlepool.

May 2010 – Oct 2010 SAIS – UT/MPI Inspection at various structural welding, as well as various butt welds and

Nodes at fabrication yards in Invergordon.

Oct 2010 – Dec 2010 – SAIS - UT/MPI Inspection on Plate, Pipe and Node weldments at Subsea 7 Fabrication yard in Angola, Africa.

Jan 2011 – Oct 2011 – SAIS - UT/MPI Inspection of various butt welds on pipeline in shed and on the track at Subsea 7 spool base in Wick, Scotland.

Oct 2011 - Feb 2013 – MISTRAS/ETS - UT/MPI Inspection on Plate, Pipe and Node weldments on mainly heavy wall butts up to 150mm in thickness on various contracts at Wilton Engineering, port Clarence, Teesside.

Feb 2013 - July 2017-  SAIS - A Shawcor Company - UT/MPI Inspection at on various structural, butt and node welds on Laggan Tormore project in Shetlands.

Inspection of various butt welds at Subsea 7 spool base in Wick, Scotland.

Inspection on various structural, butt and node welds on Spools and Spreader Bars with use of TRL probes on Duplex and Super Duplex butts on spools at Vest Base in Kristiansund, Norway for Technip and Serimax

Inspection on various structural, butt and node welds at Nigg yard, Evanton and Invergordon workshops in Scotland.

Inspection on various structural, butt and node welds on Spools and Spreader Bars with use of TRL probes on Duplex and Super Duplex butt welds on the spools at Hanoy Tangen in Norway for Technip and Serimax

Inspection of various butt welds at Technip spool base Evanton Scotland

MPI/UT/DPI on procedures on The Bright Spark vessel in Alicante, Spain.

Jan 2018 – Sep 2020 - Shawcor - MPI/UT/DPI inspection on various pipe butts and structural welding in Fab shops around Invergordon and various rigs working out of Nigg Bay. 

Sep 2020 – Feb 2021 – Liberty Steel – MPI/UT of pipe ends at the 42’’ pipe mill Hartlepool.

Feb 2021 – Present – Northern NDT – Working on structural welding of MOD Submarines for BAE, working at WD Close, Wallsend.

Worked for 5 years at Corus Tubes 42'' Pipe Mill, Hartlepool.
