Anushka Patchava

Career:
Anushka is an experienced C-suite executive leader, recently serving as Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Vitality, before transitioning to entrepreneurship. She previously held global strategy, product and innovation roles across health insurance and pharmaceutical sectors.

She is Co-Founder and was Chief Product Officer at Wellx, a cutting-edge health/insurtech company, leveraging artificial intelligence to disrupt insurance in the Middle East. In this role, Wellx has won several global awards including the coveted Med-Ted World Award for Best Digital Healthcare Product in 2023.

She is also Chief Growth Officer and Chief Clinical Safety Officer at Mindstep, a mental health start-up in the UK providing in the moment AI-led digital triage and personalised care across over 12+ brain and mental health conditions. Both Wellx and Mindstep were selected and part of Google's inaugural AI for Health accelerator in 2023. 

With a passion for analytics and efficiency, Anushka's career has largely been focussed on deploying population health, digital health and new technologies to improve healthcare outcomes across several global markets, including US, Europe and East Asia.  Anushka's expertise extends beyond the business realm, as she also serves as an Expert Advisor with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare Policy, to both the United Nations (UN) and the World Economic Forum (WEF) and as an expert advisor in Private Equity within the healthcare sector across mergers, acquisitions and technology deals.

Awards:
Anushka has been honoured as one of the Top 10 Global Chief Medical Officers in 2022 (2nd place). In addition, she has been celebrated as one of the Top 10 Women in Technology in 2020, and was runner-up at Standard Chartered’s Women in Technology program in the Middle East, highlighting her trailblazing in a male-dominated industry. Most recently, she was named as one of the Top 5 Women Business Leaders in 2024 by LT.

She was awarded a coveted '30% Club' scholarship for women pursuing an executive MBA at London Business School, and has been featured in Forbes Futures in Focus, as well as a keynote speaker globally.
