As a retail team manager, I've spent the last five years doing what I love most: connecting with people. There's something special about helping customers find exactly what they're looking for – that moment when their face lights up? When I'm not leading my team, you'll find me cheering from the stands with my season ticket in hand, living and breathing every football match. I'm also a self-confessed makeup enthusiast, always first in line to test the latest beauty launches and share my discoveries with fellow cosmetics lovers. My psychology degree has given me fascinating insights into human behavior, which I weave into both my professional life and personal passions. I'm a born explorer. Experience
Tesco Mobile Team Manager. Signed off and appointed via Tesco’s Management option programme. Tasked to revitalise a struggling phoneshop with poor performance, low morale and resistant team. This challenge involved overcoming a culture of resistance to change, improving sales and the customer experience. Consistently ensured compliance with safe and legal processes, leveraging my expertise to conduct regular internal audits with my team and wider stores and identify common business risks. Managing staff planning to ensure right people in right roles. Provide coaching and training to a resistant team, driving engagement and accountability. Taking pride in identifying and developing the team to nurture high-potential talent. Focused on achieving sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensuring the team understood business objectives and worked towards consistent results. Lead the team with engaging training to ensure compliance with product launches and audits. Managing product launches and aligning the team with business goals. Maintained improving performance and accountability without direct supervision. This role allowed me to demonstrate ability to lead during challenging circumstances, drive sales and implement strategic business improvements.
