Services offered
I am a qualified and experienced mathematics teacher with outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills and a track record of establishing positive relationships with students, staff and colleagues. I am a respected leader with the ability to teach and manage students from diverse backgrounds allowing them to achieve their potential. I have a range of experience of teaching students who are to enter a line of work and help them to achieve their potential. I have on several occasions gone above and beyond the call of duty, by organising extra exam preparatory sessions over weekends and after school to allow for student to achieve their maximum potential. It has been greatly rewarding when students have achieved greater than expected due to my proactive approach of teaching coupled with my desire to improve learning. I have been previously advised that I have an ability to motivate and inspire pupils by working on my own initiative and as an effective team member. Colleagues would describe me as a very enthusiastic team member who has mastered student, staff and parent communication. I have immense experience of raising student achievement levels to the required standard in Maths. I also have the ability to utilise the latest technology effectively as a learning resource, which helps the students of today because these resources are what are easily accessible. I am a hardworking, fully committed and extremely driven individual. I see myself as self-motivated, with an eagerness to learn new skills. I can adapt to different working environments and people, whilst projecting a high level of commitment to goals by working under pressure and to strict deadlines. I see targets as personal challenges and work towards them positively. During previous work positions, I have also been required to have a flexible approach to work including a willingness to travel regionally for off-site delivery of sessions, and work occasionally over evenings and weekends as required. I am more than happy and eager to do this to cater to different student needs.

Education
I have always strived to keep up-to-date with relevant training and professional development. I have attended all meetings and refresher sessions ranging from child protecting and safeguarding to changes in syllabus and grade requirements. I find that this enhances teaching delivery, since it makes teachers more up-to-date and aware of teaching practices today. I also find weekly meetings a great source of CPD since they contain useful teaching and learning tips from colleagues and advice from courses that they have also attended and feedback from each regarding what was and was not effective. These meeting also allow me to share my own experiences and views regarding effectiveness of new practices and teaching methods.
