About Aschas Tahir S.:

I am a Distinction grade Master of Research Postgraduate from the University of Liverpool, with more than two years of experience in academic and industrial laboratory settings. My expertise is in molecular biology, where I have current training in tissue culture, molecular cloning, bacteriological culture, pharmacological assays, and other cutting-edge techniques. Supplementary to this, I am aware of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), aseptic techniques, and laboratory health and safety. Evidenced by the COSHH risk assessments created for varied and expansive research projects. In all my placements, I have shown meticulous attention to detail, achieving outstanding performance reviews from supervisors, managers and peers. I have additional skills in bioinformatics and advanced machine learning using Python, which complement the data analysis requirements for the abovementioned technical work.
