2nd September 2019 to present Dane Architectural Systems LTD 

Draughtsperson – CAD Design and Engineering 

- Working alongside Architectural Technicians to produce designs for manufacture. 

- Interpreting Detailed Drawings to create 3D models and assemblies. 

- Solving design problems to allow for designs that work for production and on site. 

- Collaborating with the design team to ensure that designs are developed into a workable solution. 

- Producing both production drawings and site drawings. 

- Creating large hosts which are then placed into the BIM to check for clash detection to ensure there are no issues when the parts are fitted on site. 

- Creating the orders for the parts required for the job. 

- Working with site to ensure that if there are any issues from the designs and drawings produced, that problems can be solved through emails and over the phone.

- Designing Architectural facade systems working closely with the manufacturing team. 

- Create 3D CAD models from Architects and Contractors engineering drawings to standards. 

- Create drawings for production. 

- Solve problems with designs and implement changes. 

- Produce flat patterns and prepare the design for tooling. 

- Training a colleague on software and explaining technical detailing from drawings.

- Worked on design projects within a small design and engineering team. 

- Generated concept designs by sketching, CAD design and prototyping using 3D printing.
