Aurora Katherine

My name is Aurora and I am currently training with TEFL to teach English as a foreign language. I have studied both Japanese and culture for the last 5 years at Oxford Brookes University and am currently in the process of learning Korean in both a classroom setting and through conversation with friends. I love to draw and create, and am overall a very creative person. 

My experience is largely based within the coffee industry, from a simple barista up to a head barista/supervisor, where I am in charge or a large team and the quality control of the coffee - ensuring all staff members are correctly taught procedures and method to maintain a high standard within the store. 

Recently, I have begun my journey as an online English teacher, taking the TEFL online 120-hour course, as well as teaching English to Korean students hoping to improve their English speaking skills. I am eager to share my passion for learning languages, and love to help people on their journey in learning English!

I have recently complete a 5 year BA Honours course on Japanese Studies, in which I learnt both the language and of Japanese culture and history.
