Ayesha Stead

A conscientious & professional care assistant with extensive experience in health care. A highly organised & efficient individual who can work within a team but also using my own initiative. I am a hard-working honest individual. I am good at time keeping & always willing to learn new skills. As a person I am friendly, helpful, polite with a good sense of humour. I am outgoing & tactful, able to listen effectively when solving problems. I can work under pressure in a busy environment if needed.

While working at first care have completed my level 2 NVQ in health & social care. I have also been a senior care assistant this then added more responsibilities to my role for example being on call this is where you are able to help the other employees & clients with an emergency or any general questions. Also going out to meet new clients to help then with their care plan this is a record of in-depth plan of care for each individual in the care plans are the clients emergency contact information, the care that will be carried out for the individuals needs, medical information, past history about the client, health & safety requirement throughout the clients home, equipment used, how to use the equipment correctly, running records, medication charts, any other personal charts the clients require for
example nutrition charts. While being a senior I would have the on-call phone to answer any questions that may need answering from health professionals & social workers. Also while working in the NHS on an ITU unit I have completed my care certificate as part of my role. Completed all my esr required by the trust.
