Experience
In my current role as a Team Lead support worker at a residential trauma
recovery clinic, I have had the privilege of leading a dedicated team of
support workers. My responsibilities include managing daily operations, ensuring compliance
with care standards, and developing individualized care plans in consultation with residents
and their clinical teams. I am particularly skilled in team management, person-centered care
planning, record keeping and documentation, excellent communication and interpersonal
skills and risk assessment, which I believe are crucial for the effective execution of this role.
My previous roles as a Senior Support Worker and Support Worker have equipped me with a
comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced in care settings. I have
experience in medication administration, crisis intervention, and providing emotional support
to residents. My ability to remain calm under pressure, coupled with my commitment to
continuous learning, has enabled me to excel in these roles.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I hold a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Technology
and Innovation from the Royal Agricultural University, which has provided me with a strong
analytical and problem-solving skill set. Furthermore, I have completed various certifications,
including the Care Certificate, Level 3 Safeguarding Adults Training, Mental health training
and several specialized courses such as Eating Disorder Awareness and Risk Assessments.
I hold a full UK driver’s license and available for relocation to a nearby city for easy
commuting if required.
