Ben Brackston

I am a chemistry/science teacher who has been based abroad for the last two years teaching in a private international school in Bucharest Romania. My expertise is in practical based learning, and am passionate about making science exciting and hands on for students. I have had to return to the uk for some time to help care for my mother who is currently going through some health complication and am looking for work outside of education. Teaching requires one to frequently work outside of work hours and that currently does not work with my caring requirements. I am hoping to find some work that keeps me on my feet and that has clear boundaries over work hours. I am healthy and fit and have worked previously as a picker in a distribution warehouse.

For the last 6 years I have been in education, but i worked in a beauty product distribution warehouse in Cardiff while I studied my PGCE. Prior to my degree I spent a few years working in kitchens as a pot cleaner, food prep, and waiting staff
