I am very technology orientated. I can use many pieces of software including Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, Unreal and the Google Suite. I am also proficient with hardware and software repairs on various types of computer devices,

In my own personal time my main interest is music. I have been teaching myself how to play guitar for around 5-6 years and have been making steady progress. My other interests include cooking, baking, 3D art and technology.

I have 6 years of driving experience, have a full clean UK driving licence and I own a car.

Store Manager/Repair Technician - Disking (Surrey) - July 2021 to February 2024

My last job was working at Disking Computers for two and a half years. I started at Disking as a part time sales assistant in Farnham, but worked my way up to become the store manager of the Hindhead Branch. Doing this has taught me many things in the IT area, including laptop/phone repairs, computer upgrades and software set-up and troubleshooting. The software side included helping set up new computers and devices for customers with fresh software and helping customers to transfer any previous software or data as they needed.

This job also improved my communication skills, as I have had to handle phone calls, as well as in person talks with customers so I could ensure I would solve their problems effectively. I also worked alongside my colleagues in store to collaborate on repairs. When speaking to our customers we had to be very attentive to their needs. Many of our customers were inexperienced with technology and computers. As a result they required clear explanations and attention to detail. I managed to achieve a high level of satisfaction which can be seen in the numerous 5 star reviews thanking me for my service.

As a manager I learnt how to handle stock takes, manage incoming and outgoing stock from the store as well as liaising with colleagues to coordinate stock levels, repair progress and consistency between the six Disking stores. I had a great time working with my colleagues in different departments.

Sales Assistant - CEX (Carmarthen) - September 2018 to August 2019

I worked as a Sales assistant at CEX for a year which helped me gain a number of skills. My job involved sales from both behind the counter and on the shop floor, helping customers pick out the right item for them. As this was a technology orientated store I learnt on the job about many different types of technology, from phones to computer parts. This has given me a vast knowledge on technology and identifying the right item for the customer.

On the job I was also given more admin tasks. I was able to effectively perform stock checks and transfers, identify missing items and track down any problems that may have occurred.

When working in this role I had to deal with customers for extended periods of time. I learnt important skills for dealing with a range of customers, and potentially challenging interactions. I was able to treat customers politely and calmly to ensure the best customer experience possible.

Sales/Web Assistant - Tangled Parrot (Carmarthen) - April 2019 to August 2019

I worked at the record shop Tangled Parrot part time where I would run the shop during the days I worked there, as it is only a small record store, and there was not a need to have more than one staff member there at a time. I was able to successfully manage sales during the day as well as organise and arrange the inventory. While working there I volunteered to help with the creation of their website, bringing the store onto the online marketplace.
