A recent graduate currently looking for a Data Analyst role to put my studies into action. I possess exceptional communication and teamwork skills and I have a very strong attention to detail. Throughout my studies I gained experience of a range of software packages such as SAS and explored SQL coding. Similarly I have experience using a range of Microsoft packages which has helped me to produce a variety of high quality reports and projects during my degree. Looking for a start in the exciting world of data where I can learn and develop my skills further.

Recently I have graduated from Sheffield Hallam achieving a First Class Honours Degree in Business and Digital Technology. 

As part of my studies I used a variety of IT tools to help contextualise scenarios. Listed below are a selection of projects I worked on at University and the skills I developed as part of it. 

• The degree encompassed IT and Business modules allowing for an understanding of data analysis and the implications when used by a business. 
• For the Applied business intelligence module I used SAS, a data mining tool to sort a large database to provide recommendations to a theoretical bank manager. I then generated summary statistics to create graphs and illustrate my findings. 
• Utilised SQL coding to retrieve data from a large database. This involved sorting the data and creating tables before analysing the results and providing recommendations. 
• Developed a success strategy for M&S to improve falling sales as a result of the pandemic. This involved utilising analysis tools such as Porter’s 5 forces and Bowman’s strategy clock to provide a well thought out procedure. 
• Took the lead during a research project exploring cookie misuse by Facebook. 
• I am efficient at making well thought decisions shown in particular when I proposed changes to a simulated business to help streamline its ITIL processes.
