My passion for content creating first started in 2018 when I was studying National 5 Media! Since then I went on to study media at Higher and then went to Edinburgh College to study Radio and Podcasting and then Television and Film. Also whilst I've been at DC Thomson I helped create Christmas content for Pure Radio in the November of 2022. This is an area in media that I'm incredibly enthusiastic about and not only want to learn more about but also want to shape and help grow.

▪ Part of the Insights Team tasked with creating surveys to assess audience brand perception ▪ Gained experience of Audience Development from completing company training programmes ▪ Designed Instagram story posts to try and increase audience interaction and user engagement ▪ Handpicked to create and add captions for posts using hashtags and emojis to gain traction ▪ Received recognition for creating and editing video content and for creating pins on Pinterest ▪ Utilised Canva software to edit photos and write enticing copy to attract users to Scots Magazine ▪ Created copy for captions and added hashtags and emojis when working on the Sunday Post ▪ Scheduled new posts on Meta and Hootsuite to ensure distribution was set at the correct times ▪ Commended for increasing social media platform popularity on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for various brands including The Sunday Post, Pure Radio and Scots Magazine ▪ Assisted colleagues in brand engagement with Taste of Grampian and The Cherries Awards ▪ Edited videos to ensure they were to the professional standards needed for Pure Radio Filming
