About Callum Hall:
I am a University of Lincoln chemistry Graduate. I studied modules in Organic, Inorganic, Physical, Analytical and Nuclear Chemistry where I graduated with an Upper Second Class Honours.
Following my Graduation at UoL, I became a Police Constable in the role of a response officer within the Humberside region. Through this role I have honed my ability to critically think, work in high stress environments and work under pressure
Experience
In my role as a Police Constable, I am entrusted with a range of critical responsibilities that centre around maintaining law and order, safeguarding the well-being of individuals, and contributing to the overall safety of the community. This multifaceted position demands a combination of strong interpersonal skills, quick decision-making abilities, and a deep commitment to public service. I work in a challenging and dynamic environment, dealing with a range of incidents and situations on a daily basis. I am expected to work as part of a team, responding to emergency situations and conducting proactive patrols to prevent crime. One of the core aspects of my role involves responding promptly and effectively to emergency calls and incidents. This demands not only a rapid assessment of the situation but also the ability to remain composed under pressure, ensuring that the appropriate actions are taken to ensure the safety of all involved parties. My responsibilities include responding to emergency calls and incidents, conducting patrols in high-risk areas to prevent crime, investigating and detecting crime, interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence, arresting suspects and presenting evidence in court, providing support to victims of crime, liaising with other agencies such as social services and health professionals, providing advice and assistance to members of the public, and participating in community initiatives to improve safety and reduce crime. I take immense pride in my role as a Police Constable, where my independent thinking, initiative, and dedication to public service are constantly put to the test to give the public the best outcome possible. A large amount of this is done using the goodwill of officers like myself, who often finish late to ensure the public get the best service possible, and those at a greater risk are as safe as possible. My willingness to go the extra mile, often working beyond regular hours, reflects my unwavering dedication to serving the public and making a meaningful impact on their lives
Education
September 2019 – August 2022 BSc Chemistry (Hons) – Upper Second Class (2:1) University of Lincoln, UK
Within my degree, I studied the processes of organic, inorganic, analytical, physical and nuclear chemistry. The unique module studied during my degree was ‘professional practice’. Professional Practice is a unique module that isn’t taken on by many universities. Within this module I learnt transferable skills important industrial chemistry, via a series of projects and tasks designed by AstraZeneca and iFormulate to develop the skills required for an industrial setting. The module greatly developed my critical thinking and analytical skills to break town the task at hand into its component parts, and work through them 1 by 1 with my team. In both projects I had to identify key components with the information learnt through lectures and self-teaching and apply this new knowledge to complete the task at hand
