About Candid Mbuko:

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Support Worker position establishments. With a proven track record as a dedicated Healthcare/support Assistant and a background in Food Technology and Chemistry, I am confident that my skills and unwavering commitment to compassionate care make me an exceptional candidate for this role.
My journey into healthcare began with a profoundly personal experience caring for my father, a stroke patient, who lived with me for five years. This experience instilled in me a deep sense of compassion and a dedication to holistic caregiving principles. As my father's primary caregiver, I provided diligent physical assistance, mental stimulation, and closely monitored his symptoms to promote his well-being. I have extended this level of care to diverse individuals, including the elderly, convalescents, people with disabilities, and children, consistently maintaining a clean and organized environment and ensuring their comfort.

My background in Food Technology equips me with a strong understanding of nutrition and food safety, allowing me to provide specialized dietary guidance and support to patients. Additionally, my second degree in Chemistry enhances my analytical and problem-solving skills, which are invaluable in healthcare settings where attention to detail and critical thinking are essential.
Beyond my caregiving and Support skills, I bring excellent driving skills, ensuring efficient transportation and support for patients when needed. Furthermore, my experience in the sales and marketing sector has honed my communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling me to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Over the past five years, I have volunteered as a Healthcare Assistant, supporting the vulnerable patients, continuously refining my caregiving skills and staying updated with the latest care practices. I am open to the role of a Support Worker, a live-in Care Assistant, drawing from my experience as a dedicated Support work/live-in carer for my father, and I am equally interested in hospital, care home and domiciliary care roles. With qualifications in specimen management, mobility assistance, and emergency response, I am well-prepared to provide round-the-clock support, ensuring the comfort and well-being of those under my care.
I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute my expertise to a healthcare assistant role in the Newfoundland/Labrador, including live-in care and domiciliary care positions, while upholding the highest standards of compassionate and holistic care. I am eager to discuss how my skills and experiences align with the needs of your healthcare team.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of joining you, and making a positive impact on the lives of your patients.

Best Regards,
CANDID OKEZIE MBUKO

Experience

Dedicated Healthcare Assistant with an unwavering commitment to enhancing health outcomes and improving the quality of life for individuals of all ages. My journey into healthcare began with a deeply personal experience caring for my father, a stroke patient, who lived with me for five years until his passing. This profound experience instilled in me a profound sense of compassion and a dedication to holistic caregiving principles.

As my father's primary caregiver, I provided diligent physical assistance, fostered mental stimulation, and closely monitored his symptoms to promote his well-being and overall health. My caregiving expertise extends to diverse individuals, including the elderly, convalescents, people with disabilities, and children. I excel in maintaining a clean and organized environment, managing tasks such as bed-making, laundry, dishwashing, and preparing nutritious meals.

I find great satisfaction in offering valuable guidance to families, students, vulnerable and healthcare teams, providing insights into health concerns, nutrition, cleanliness, and daily activities to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care. Beyond healthcare, I hold excellent driving skills, ensuring efficient transportation and support for patients when needed. I also take delight in teaching as it sufficed during my National Youth Service year when I tutored Practical Chemistry to the entire Science Technology Department in a Polytechnic.

In addition to my caregiving skills, I hold a degree in Food Technology, which adds another layer of expertise to my role. My background in Food Technology equips me with a strong understanding of nutrition and food safety, allowing me to provide specialized dietary guidance and support to patients.

Furthermore, I have a second degree in Chemistry, which enhances my analytical and problem-solving skills. This background is invaluable in healthcare settings where attention to detail and critical thinking are essential, enabling me to contribute positively to patient care and safety.

Over the past five years, I have volunteered as a Healthcare Assistant following my father's passing, continuously refining my caregiving skills. I am open to the role of a live-in Care Assistant, drawing from my experience as a dedicated live-in carer for my father, and I am equally interested in domiciliary care roles.

With qualifications in specimen management, mobility assistance, and emergency response, I am well-prepared to provide round-the-clock support, ensuring the comfort and well-being of those under my care.

I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute my expertise to a healthcare assistant role in the UK, including live-in care and domiciliary care positions, while upholding the highest standards of compassionate and holistic care.
