I'm an experienced freelance PA, blog writer, events organiser and social media strategist.

Background

I have a lot of experience in various sectors. I volunteered for the MS Society for 20 years as a fundraiser and have worked for several charities during my career, including two years at Starlight Children's Foundation as PA to the CEO and Trusts Assistant. In my spare time, I actively look for people who are suffering and offer them support and practical help (contacting specialists to find drugs that might help them etc).

I am also an experienced copywriter, freelance PA and social media strategist.

Experience

For the past 6 years I have worked part-time as a VA to a busy senior HR professional and Executive Coach.

My responsibilities include: 

Managing her LinkedIn profile and social accounts  
Carrying out research on clients   
Typing up/amending/formatting documents   
Booking travel, accommodation, and meeting venues  
Assisting with the quarterly accounts (by tracking down and sending invoices to her accountant)  
Personal errands i.e. booking social events, online grocery shopping and ad hoc items for the household, buying birthday gifts for family members  
Ad hoc tasks and admin 

Event Organisation

I was a voluntary fundraiser for the Ealing MS Society for fifteen years. During this time, I organised many events, including a Blind Beer Tasting, Ealing's Got Talent, a Short Film Showcase, 5k Runs and many more. My efforts resulted in me raising £50k for charity.

I also co-organised a Menopause Workshop in 2019, with a nutritional therapist. We had exhibitors selling their menopause products, a series of menopause themed talks and workshops from experts, a kombucha tasting session, and a comedian to end the day on a high. We gave away branded goody bags with over £1k worth of products to each attendee. The event was a huge success - making profit and raising awareness of 4well people.
