I am highly motivated on all tasks I undertake, aiming to complete all challenges efficiently and effectively. I am very enthusiastic and would like to progress in my career. Over the last 14 years of my career I have experience in, administration of medication, general caring duties, organising rotas, and learning how the caring business works, and what it expects. I enjoy working as part of a team, but I also like to work alone completing tasks. I am a quick learner; I pick up skills as I work and demonstrate these daily. I am a good listener with a caring personality, I aim to achieve the best possible for myself and for others that I support. Outside of work I like to spend time with family and friends, I enjoy taking long walks with my dogs.

I have gained Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care alongside Level 2 NVQ in Management.

As a support worker at Peacock Hay I am responsible for 7 individuals in which I provide support to. As part of this role I deliver personal care, handle money, support the individuals with cleaning, plan and implement activities. I am key worker to an individual I am responsible for ensuring that health appointments are booked, birthdays are planned for, liaising with the individuals family, update any changes to their needs, take note of their interests and plan activities to support these.  More recently I have taken on the role of a Shift Lead, I ensure that the shift runs smoothly, am proactive rather than reactive. I delegate tasks where needed. I have been gaining knowledge in all aspects of the care business as I have been supporting the team leaders with updating support plans, completing rotas, ensuring that office management is up to date such as Health and Safety and COSHH.

I have nvq 2 and 3 in health and social care also nvq 2 in management.
