About Catia Andrade:

My name is Catia Andrade and I am [a very dynamic and versatile professional  with relevant years of experience in a variety of industries. I specialize in business and executive support, where I have had the opportunity to work with senior and high level executives in complex industries.

I am motivated and goal-oriented professional with over 10 years of experience across management levels in diverse organizations. In roles such as Executive Assistant, Finance and Property Management, I have developed a strong analytical and practical skills that are transferable to many other industries. High level ability to manage complex tasks and coordinate executive schedules that drives productivity and operational effectiveness.

Experience

I have relevant experience in providing administrative personal and professional support to the CEO, four Directors, Trustees, Board Members and all other staff members across the business. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing and organizing the day-to-day smooth run of the office, submitting successful partners notes and proposals to secure funding, developing relationships with key partners and stakeholders who are interested in our organisation approach, including communicating at a high level to either senior individuals from private companies, academic institutions and also diplomatic delegations through writing briefing notes and official documents.

In addition as part of my role I am responsible for assisting the outsourced Accountants in the provision of a timely and efficient payroll service as well as managing company’s business accounts, performing administrative internal audits and completing weekly and more extensive monthly financial reports, generating invoices, processing accounts payable and receivable, provide monthly finance report on recurring revenue, cash positions, review and approval of team expenses, scheduling billing payments and file management/archiving. 

Prior to the NGO role I have spent three years working within the public sector working alongside Local Authorities in the capacity of Administrator/Support Housing Officer for Catalyst Housing Group. During this period I undertook supporting administrative tasks which included being able to liaise with a very diverse mix of stakeholders, tenants and internal customers. As a result I have gained a great deal of understanding of the Homes &Communities and Housing framework and acquiring a great deal of the communication protocols required in this environment. The nature of the work ranged from processing various types of paperwork, the work  included handling personal and sensitive personal and financial information and correspond with Local Authorities and financial institutions for referrals.

 

I would like to also add the internship I took part in 2010 for the International Maritime Organization while taking part in a convention as a guest/helper and part of the Republic of Angola Mission in the IMO and the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA), in July 2010 here in London , where various heads of mission came together to develop an integrated Plan ad Memorandum of Understanding in West and Central Africa and provided a framework of cooperation. 

Personally I thrive on challenges and I am most motivated to exceed expectations, therefore I am seeking to enrol in potential future opportunities that I would relish develop my professional skills further. I want my work to stay relevant by keep on providing positive support and effective assistance.
