• Designed and delivered innovative security solutions across cyber security functions with focus on threat detection and network security for a large enterprise underpinned by Cloud infrastructure.
• Delivered recommendations for enhancements to IT security environments to prevent successful attacks. Such as geo blocking implementation at Firewall level to decrease Cyber threat landscape thereby reducing false positive incidents.
• Design and implement scalable and efficient SIEM architectures that meet the organization's data collection and analysis requirements. Such as implementing multi-vendor SIEM solution to reduce licensing costs to the client.
• Configure data inputs to collect and index machine-generated data from various sources, such as logs, network devices, applications, and cloud services.
• Develop parsing rules and data transformation configurations to ensure accurate and structured data representation in SIEM engine.
• Lead and coordinate the team's incident response efforts, ensuring timely and effective detection, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the SOC, including monitoring security alerts, managing incident queues.
• Plan and execute regular vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and potential security gaps in systems, networks, and applications.

I completed my Post graduation diploma in Information security in 2022. Before this I have a bachelors of technology in electronics and telecommunications engineering.
