Charlotte Wicks

I am a multi-facistated creative individual who has 10 year experienced in the hospitality and retail industry. I have also contributed to the events and music marketing industry with my university magazine called ‘resonate’. I am looking for a creative internship where i can hone in on my journalism and creativity skills and work within a team who is driven by results and making a positive difference in the creative industries. 

4 years experience in McDonald's where I progressed with ease, with every year earning promotions and then transferring those skills to Tesco and then Fuller's as an assistant manager who inspired teams to be creative with skills such as bartending and mixology. I find pleasure in empowering individuals to earn and become more confident in themselves. 

Volunteering experience in working with festivals such as the great escape in Brighton and Nozstock festival where I helped with the admin and flow of the direction of artists and helped with social media marketing, I have an understanding of the behind the scenes action that goes into the making of the operational side of things and understand the bigger picture of scaling and delegation. 

I am currently in my third year of university studying music marketing, media and communications and I am looking for my next role in the marketing and branding industry where I can combine all my skills and experience into a role where I can work within a team that thrives with community values and music and media. I enjoy being part of the bigger process of projects.
