Charlton Metopa

I am currently enrolled in the Master of Laws (LLM) Peace, Security and International Law programme at the University of Aberdeen.

I graduated with a combined degree of Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) in Public Administration and Human Resource Management and Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of the South Pacific.

I have over 19 years work experience in Law Enforcement with the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force and over 2 years with the Regional Security Office at the American Embassy in Honiara, Solomon Islands.

I worked as the Foreign Service National Investigator (FSNI) with the Regional Security Office of the American Embassy in Honiara, Solomon Islands. I worked from July 2023 to September 2025.

Prior to joining the American Embassy Honiara, I worked as a Police Officer with the Rank of Staff Sergeant in the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force from July 2004 to July 2023.

Current: Master of Laws (LLM) Peace, Security and International Law - University of Aberdeen.

2023: Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) Public Administration and Human Resource Management, and Bachelor of Law (LLB) - University of the South Pacific.
