Services offered
Hi, I'm Charlyne Fernandes Fine, a dedicated costume designer and maker. Recently graduate form Performance at the prestigious Central Saint Martins school in London.
Over the past several years, I've had the privilege of designing and producing costumes and prosthetic costumes for numerous films, stop-motion films, theatre and burlesque shows, each time bringing the characters' stories to life.
My journey in this creative field began with a solid foundation in Fashion Design, which served as a stepping stone to my career in costume design. This prior experience in the fashion industry has endowed me with perfect sewing and realization skills, essential for costume making, which I now channel into creating costumes that perfectly fit the vision of the narrative.
What sets me apart as a designer is my ability to understand your needs and execute your brief meticulously, all while adding an unexpected element that enhances the overall effect. I love designing and making costumes; what excites me is finding the perfect costume for a character and discovering how to achieve that, solving the problems I encounter along the way.
I don’t have a specialization; I love that every project is different and keeps me awake at night thinking about how I will achieve and surpass the expected look. When you share your story and characters with me, I don't just listen, I bring them to life. So let's work together to create something extraordinary.
