Chris O Reilly

Working on a front line ambulance for last ten years. Across two NHS trusts (east of england/south east coast) both in NHS capacity and private sector.  Have been working with south east coast protocol for ten years, and am very familiar with hospitals and community teams. I have been autonomous clinician as a DCA, and worked under paramedic and with NHS crews to assist in emergency patient care. I am passionate about giving the kind of care I would want my own parents to have and that is the care I strive to give my patients. Care and respect. Either to guide them to hospital, or refer to GP or liase with hospice teams and mental health. 

Ten years working on ambulances, initially as a non emergency crew, then working my way up to ECA and eventually technician.  All self funded. I have worked with hospital teams on transfers, and senior clinical teams on scene  and directed fire and police to assist in managing patients on scene. I continue to work on SECAMB through the private sector, and hope to expand my working experience through the TRUST.
