Skilled and highly-motivated professional who has already amassed a wide range of valuable experience in the renewables industry, including project management, presenting and training, and technical writing. Transferable skills also come from a successful teaching career, such as data analysis, strong communication and management, which are coupled with a long-term passion for energy transition technologies. Now seeking to further broaden this experience with a clearly-defined role and long-term career prospects in mind, as well as completing an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering within the next three years.

Approximate rate: £ 1 per hour

Experience

Use of Aurora and OpenSolar to simulate solar systems at a domestic and commercial level, taking calculations into account to maximise yield.


Project management of commercial solar projects, as well as major company policy changes.
Contracts, MCS and FCA compliance.


Teaching skills, which have been applied in the context of solar PV to teach fellow staff members and external companies.


Long-term passion for renewable energy and the energy transition.


Technical writing for renewable energy magazines, such as Solar Builder, PV Magazine, Alt Energy Magazine and Power Engineering International.


Presenting a company YouTube channel to explain complex technical concepts to laypeople.


Full member of the Renewable Energy Institute, exceeding the CPD requirements to reach Master Membership Status upon renewal in 2024.
