With more than 15 years national and international editorial experience at senior level including 10 years as a business editor, in Abu Dhabi my career so far has encompassed the full range of responsibilities your advertisement outlines; I am well used to quickly and effectively checking headlines and copy and making improvements where necessary and working across numerous pages and stories concurrently to ensure accuracy is second nature.

I have excellent news judgment and solid experience of leading editorial teams, liaising effectively with subbing staff and other departments where relevant over required page and copy changes. A strong communicator, I’m skilled at planning ahead to maximise editorial excellence and opportunity and, of course, I have never missed a deadline in my career. My experience enables me to be highly flexible when working across shifts and in different roles to best help the production team.

A solid career in media  - digital, print and broadcast - I have in depth understanding of all aspects of journalism and editorial production processes. I have worked at senior level nationally and internationally across a broad range of publications and I am looking to bring those skills to an organisation such as yours where I can further develop my skills and knowledge and put what I already know to its best use.
