I've worked in childcare for around 5 years but am interested in seeking more opportunities to learn. I'm especially interested in caring for children and young adults with additional needs. I seek to have an understanding of a variety of different disabilities and how they effect each individual. Ive worked along side children with varying needs, from autism-down syndrome and have had 1-1s with Autism spectrum disorder. Whilst I have shadow care such as PEG feeds I  would like to eventually be more hands on and will take any opportunity to learn that I'm provided with. I'm currently going through an autism diagnosis myself at the age of 26, this, along with my work with autistic children and my connection with their parents has provided me with a unique insight on asd. I'm happy to work with full on children, I'm calm by nature but can react when needed. I've worked with children age 6 months-11 years as an apprentice but age 2-4 as a qualified level 2 

I've had a variety of jobs from Customer service facing roles to factory work however I'm most as home in roles that allow me to provide care. I've had experience in preschools, nursery's and have done placement in schools and hospitals 

I have a health and social care qualification as well as a qualification in childcare
